Phil
Andrews is currently an award winning Senior
Loan Consultant and Vice President with Mortgage
Options located in Orange, California. Phil
started on the ground floor of the lending
business back in 1973 working in the collections
department of a large regional bank. During the
next several years, he worked in a variety of
roles including originator, underwriter,
processor and eventually assumed responsibility
of managing the loan department. Relocating to
Southern California in 1979 provided a wealth of
opportunity for Phil in the lending business.
Working for direct lending institutions for the
next 20 years provided Phil with the expertise
and depth of knowledge needed to continue his
success. His involvement in the origination and
portfolio management of residential, commercial
and industrial real estate laid the groundwork
for his current success.
When deciding to originate full time, Phil
joined Mortgage Options in1999 and has
consistently been the company’s top producing
loan officer. He has also been an integral part
the management team and assists with the
supervision of a highly motivated and dedicated
team of professionals. His business is largely
by referral, due to the strong relationships he
has grown and maintained with his business
partners and clients.
Phil currently resides in Anaheim with his wife
Shelli and their two children, Joey and Casey.
Two older children, Tim and Lisa are married and
each raising children of their own. Phil is very
active in his community serving as an executive
member and treasurer of the Canyon Hills
Community Council since 1995. This organization
of community volunteers bands together
throughout the year to produce a variety of
community events including a spectacular Fourth
of July celebration. Additionally, Phil
currently sits as a member of the Board of
Directors of El Rancho Charter School. Phil is
also a past president of the Anaheim Hills
Rotary Club and helped the club achieve numerous
awards.
When not working or volunteering his time to the
community, Phil enjoys traveling, digital
photography, woodworking and an occasional
“friendly” game of poker.
“The most important part of my job is
communication. I know the purchase/refinance
process can be a confusing and sometimes
frustrating process for many people. I will take
the time during our initial meeting to discuss
and explain all of your options. After our
initial meeting you can count on the fact that I
will keep you and everyone involved in the
process informed and updated through every step
of the transaction.”
